Sail in Rock Hall!

The mission of the Rock Hall Yacht Club Sailing School (RHYCSS) is to instill a lifelong love of sailing and the water in children and adults by teaching sailing skills in a structured, safe and fun environment.

RHYCSS is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland's Chesapeake Bay just outside the lovely town of Rock Hall. The Sailing School is committed to teaching both adults and children from our community and beyond to sail and to improve their sailing and racing skills.  RHYCSS is a non-profit organization in affiliation with the Rock Hall Yacht Club.

We offer a variety of Sailing Programs, from beginner to advanced to racing as well as Family Sailing. The courses are taught by US Sailing-certified instructors on Lawyer's Cove in Langford Bay, a calm sailing venue off the Chesapeake Bay. Gift certificates may be purchased all year long for all our programs - don't wait until summer to think sailing!

The RHYCSS offers camp partnerships and scholarships to the community to further the experience of sailing and enjoying the waters of the Chesapeake Bay.  Contact us if your campers would like to visit us for a day of learning the basics of sailing and introducing water to children that may not otherwise have the opportunity. Community sailing is our commitment!
